Pakistan Tests Fateh-II Missile. Pakistan has once again shown how strong its strategic position is.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday that the Army Rocket Force Command successfully launched a training launch of the locally produced Fateh-II missile system.
This is not your average test. It’s a declaration. A declaration of independence, technological progress, and steadfast dedication to national defense.
According to the ISPR statement, the Fateh-II missile system is:
- Designed and constructed totally by Pakistani engineers and scientists,
- They developed it indigenously. Outfitted with cutting-edge avionics—next-generation electronic systems for control and navigation
- equipped with cutting-edge navigational tools, guaranteeing precision even in difficult situations
Top Civilian & Military Leadership React
Pakistan Tests the Fateh-II Missile. Chief of Defense Forces and Chief Pakistani Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and other service commanders praised the teams:
- Technical prowess
- Dedication
- Commitment
Public recognition from military and civilian leadership highlights the strategic significance of this achievement.
Pakistan’s Intensifying Missile Test Campaign
The Fateh-II missile test is not a stand-alone test. It is a part of an incredible run of successful missile tests conducted in the last 12 months.
September 2025: Fatah-4 Cruise Missile
The Pakistan Army conducted a successful training launch of the Fateh-II missile, which reached a range of 750 kilometers.
That’s a big range. For comparison, 750 kilometers extends well into Indian territory, providing Pakistan with a viable alternative to ballistic missiles for a second strike.
May 2025: Fatah Series & Abdali Weapon System
Pakistan’s missile program had an especially busy year.
Test of the Fatah Series:
Under the Fatah series, the army tested a 120-kilometer-range surface-to-surface missile. The test signaled clear preparedness amid heightened tensions with India. The Abdali Weapon System
The Abdali weapon system: A 450-kilometer-range surface-to-surface ballistic missile, was successfully tested by Pakistan that same month.
Pakistan Navy Joins the Party
It is not just the army making headlines.
The Pakistan Navy has successfully tested several missiles in the past month, including:
- Pakistan’s stand-off strike capacity is greatly increased by the Taimoor air-launched cruise missile, an indigenously manufactured system that can be launched from airplanes.
- A developer created an anti-ship ballistic missile to counter naval threats from larger regional navies.
